From simple to unique
I love playing with colors, textures and creating something new and unique.
It all began as a four year old watching my grandma/aunt sewing specialty dresses. I was in awe every time someone came with a picture and asked her to make the dress as pictured. Somehow she knew hot to make those beautiful dresses without pre-made patterns or step by step instructions. It spark the creative bug in me; by age 9 I was able to hand sew my doll wedding dresses. Then in 6th grade a special arts and craft teacher thought me how to make teddy bears, crepe paper flowers and 3d pictures with thread and fabric flowers. By age 14 I took it upon myself to plan and design my own Quinceañera or Sweet Fifteenth birthday party. I made over 100 giant crepe flowers, centerpieces and design the sitting chart, cake, etc. It was a lot of work but I found myself enjoying every bit. Then in 2001, I planned and design my own dream wedding on a budget. From there It went on my children's theme birthday parties, to friends weddings and beyond. Crafting in general is something that excites me. There is no limit on what I can create with my hands. From paper flowers, silk flowers, jewelry making, decoupage, Christmas wreaths, and furniture building... the possibilities are endless.
